West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo has declared himself fit for the game against India at Port-of-Spain on Friday. Bravo missed the previous match against India after picking up a groin strain during the opening game of the tri-series against Sri Lanka.”I’ll be playing tomorrow,” Bravo said. “I’ve had four days of treatment. I’m feeling in a much better position than I was Sunday gone. I’m looking forward to leading the team, first time at home. It’s going to be a great atmosphere.”West Indies won their first two games against India and Sri Lanka in Jamaica. The Trinidad leg of the series will kick off with what is expected to be a full house at the Queen’s Park Oval on a “special” occasion for Bravo. “It’s like a dream come true for me,” Bravo said. “It’s always good to play in the Oval. But to be the captain of the West Indies team is something special.”We’ve been good in different patches. It’s important that come tomorrow we give a good showing, batters bat deep, get runs, bowlers do the right things. We are in a good position to make it to the finals but we are not going to sit back and relax. The more we win, the better we become as a team and that’s our aim.”Toby Radford, West Indies assistant coach, believed that consistency with the bat was the only thing the team was lacking. “I think we bowled well in Jamaica,” Radford said. “We kept both sides under 230 (India) and [around] 200 (Sri Lanka). We were really good at it in the field. At times we batted well. I think what we have done with the batting is lost wickets in clusters and we often talk about it in the meetings. ‘When you lose one wicket try and rebuild, don’t lose two and three together and have two new batters’.”We have hitters down the order… a bit of firepower in the end. If you can keep wickets in hand to the death overs you can do your damage. It’s keeping your wickets in hand and then explode in the end with players who can explode.”Johnson Charles, one of the West Indies’ most explosive players at the top, struggled against Sri Lanka, but showed what he was capable of with an attacking 97 against India. Radford said that Charles needed to be selective in which deliveries he would go after.”When he is sensible and picks the right ball, he can play all the shots,” Radford said. “I have talked to him a lot over the last two years. His bad day is when he picks the wrong ball, but when he is selective, he is a very aggressive player and he just showed the other day he can be a very sensible player. Hit the boundaries, but also tick the score over in the middle.”

وأكمل: “البداية لم تكن أفضل شيء في بطولة إفريقيا، البداية كانت سيئة أمام منتخب نيجيريا، وأول مباراة لي بعد الرباط الصليبي وكنت أشارك في وسط الملعب، وهذه المباراة كانت سبب الاستفاقة لنا، وواجهنا كوت ديفوار ونجحنا في الفوز عليهم”.

وعاد تريزجيه للحديث عن الأهلي بقوله: “النادي الأهلي مسمع في كل مكان في العالم، عندما كنت في أستون فيلا الإنجليزي الأهلي كان يلعب في كأس العالم للأندية وكان يوجد معي لاعب برازيلي في الفريق قلت له الأهلي فريقي الذي فاز على فريقك، أنا فريقي ثالث العالم وأفتخر بذلك، أنا ابن النادي الأهلي ورافع اسمه”.

وختم تريزجيه: “محمد صلاح أفضل لاعب في العالم، أقول دائمًا لمحمد صلاح أنت مثلي الأعلى بجانب الظاهرة رونالدو”.

The prospect of being confronted by some of his critics is understood to be one of the main reasons BCCI president N Srinivasan decided to call off the working committee meeting in Delhi on Friday. Although the BCCI cited technicality being the main reason for cancelling the meeting, even that was contested by some of its members.The working committee was scheduled to discuss the inquiry commission report on the IPL corruption scandal immediately after the conclusion of the league’s governing council meeting. However, once the governing council had decided that the BCCI would challenge the Bombay High Court order that had called the constitution of the probe panel as “illegal”, senior board officials  decided that there was no agenda for the working committee to discuss.Incidentally, BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel had pointed out that the meeting was cancelled owing to technical reasons. “Every member knew what the meeting was called for. The meeting was called off as there was a slight mistake in issuing the notice,” Patel told an unscheduled media briefing. “By mistake the word ’emergent’ was not written. A normal working committee meeting requires more time. Unfortunately it was just four days time. To avoid the technicality of it, the meeting was cancelled.”A working committee member, who had travelled to Delhi, echoed Patel’s statement. “Usually there are seven days needed for a working committee meeting to be convened but this time the period was too small. And since we were never told it was an emergent working committee meeting, there was no point sticking around,” he told ESPNcricinfo.However, that it was not a unanimous sentiment became clear when another working committee member told ESPNcricinfo that raising the technicality was the “most convenient way out” for Srinivasan to avoid being questioned about the High Court order on the two-member probe into allegations of breach of IPL code of conduct by Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra. According to this member, Srinivasan had already faced the heat at the previous working committee meeting on June 2, when former BCCI president IS Bindra openly questioned his role in the formation of the probe panel amongst other things. It was the same day Srinivasan had handed over his seat to Jagmohan Dalmiya temporarily.”The president wanted to avoid a scene like last time. When he got a sense that at least one of the members was going to question him if he sat in the meeting – whether he presided over the meeting or attended it as a TNCA representative – the technicality came as a huge relief for him,” the member said.He also felt that there “was no other reason” left for the working committee to discuss in the absence of the probe panel report which was only revealed to the five-member governing council. “It was always going to be a single-point agenda for the meeting,” another member said. “Had the governing council passed on the probe panel report to the working committee, we would have been able to deliberate on it. But since the governing council under its purview unanimously decided to move Supreme Court, there was no purpose for the working committee to meet.”At the outset of the meeting, the general consensus was that Srinivasan would resume as the president but today’s events delayed that. According to insiders privy to the governing council meeting, Srinivasan remains confident that the Supreme Court could overrule the Bombay High Court order. “He is confident about returning soon, well in time to fight the elections during the BCCI AGM [in September],” a board official pointed out.

Durham’s hopes of reaching the Yorkshire Bank 40 semi-finals were all but ended when Derbyshire skipper Wayne Madsen inspired his team to a crushing 107-run victory in Group B under the County Ground floodlights.Madsen made 37 and shared a century stand with Richard Johnson as Derbyshire made 217 for 8 before he ambushed Durham with his off-spin to take 3 for 27 – his best figures in any form of cricket – as the visitors collapsed on a slow, turning Derby pitch.Durham never recovered after Madsen reduced them to 62 for 4 and David Wainwright took a limited-overs career-best 4 for 11 to send the visitors crashing to 110 all out in the 29th over as Derbyshire ended a run of four defeats to Durham this season.Durham had to win and started well against a weakened Derbyshire team missing Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Wes Durston, leaving their hosts in trouble on 36 for 3 in the ninth over. Mark Wood nibbled one away to have Ben Slater caught behind for six in the fourth over and after Chesney Hughes pulled Wood for six, he tried to repeat the shot against Chris Rushworth and holed out to deep midwicket for 24.Derbyshire were struggling when Wood had Paul Borrington caught at gully but Madsen joined Johnson in a stand that put the Falcons back in the match. Johnson had a lucky escape when he was caught behind for 17 with the total on 61 but Ben Stokes had overstepped and that proved costly as the fourth-wicket pair worked the ball around to add 103 from 114 balls.Madsen straight drove Gareth Breese for six and Johnson hit four fours in a 58-ball 50 before Paul Collingwood switched ends to remove them both in the 27th over. Madsen mistimed a pull and was caught at mid-on and three balls later, Collingwood cut one back to bowl Johnson but 22 from 15 balls by Tony Palladino and 25 extras lifted Derbyshire to a challenging total on a slow pitch.It looked an even better when Madsen surprisingly opened with his occasional off-breaks and struck twice in a five-over spell that cost only 13 runs. Phil Mustard tried to cut a straight one and was bowled for a duck and Scott Borthwick pulled to deep-midwicket to put Durham on the back foot at 14 for 2.Collingwood and Mark Stoneman added 46 in nine overs but it was not easy to force the pace and when Madsen returned at the Grandstand End, Stoneman was caught at long off for 25 when he tried to hit down the ground. It was impossible to keep Madsen out of the game and he took a simple catch in the next over when Collingwood pushed Tom Knight’s left-arm spin to short extra-cover.Knight struck another huge blow when he bowled the dangerous Stokes for nine and celebrated his best List A figures of 3 for 36 before Wainwright sealed victory with 11.4 overs remaining.

وقال النادي في بيان رسمي: “اتفق ريال مدريد وفنربخشة على انتقال اللاعب أردا جولر، الذي سيرتبط بنادينا على مدى ستة مواسم مقبلة”.

وبحسب النادي التركي، فإن الصفقة قد كلفت خزائن النادي الملكي، مبلغًا ثابتًا يُقدر بـ20 مليون يورو و10 ملايين أخرى كمتغيرات، بالإضافة إلى 20% من نسبة البيع المستقبلي.

وُلد أردا جولر في فبراير 2005، لديه 18 عاما وطوله 1.76م، ويلعب بقدمه اليسرى، وقيمته السوقية تُقدر بـ15 مليون يورو.

لعب جولر 30 مباراة مع فريق فنربخشة تحت 19 عاما، سجل 14 هدفا وصنع 13، فيما لعب 51 مباراة مع الفريق الأول وسجل 9 أهداف وصنع 12 هدفا وتلقى 3 بطاقات صفراء.

وخلال الموسم الماضي في الدوري التركي، لعب جولر مع فنربخشة 20 مباراة، بدأ 11 منها أساسيًا، وبلغ متوسط دقائقه للمباراة 46 دقيقة، وسجل 4 أهداف وصنع 3، وتلقى بطاقة صفراء واحدة.

كان برشلونة أبرز منافس لفريق ريال مدريد على ضم جولر، وظهر ذلك من خلال تصريحات رئيس النادي خوان لابورتا، بعدما أعلن أن ديكو سافر إلى تركيا من أجل إتمام الصفقة، لكن في النهاية استطاع النادي الملكي التوقيع مع اللاعب.
