However, a 34-run partnership between Sripali Weerakkody and Dilani Manodara, dragged the Sri Lankan total past 150.The World Cup runners-up never looked in much trouble during their chase of 164, even though they lost a few wickets in a cluster at the end. Natasha McLean and Juliana Nero put together a solid 41 for the first wicket, before McLean was dismissed for 17. Stafanie Taylor, in her first match as captain, fell cheaply to the medium pace of Chamani Seneviratna. West Indies, however, were in a spot of bother as Nero fell for 30 with the score on 76.The impetus for the West Indies chase came from a 73-run, fourth-wicket partnership between Deandra Dottin and Kyshona Knight. Dottin played a typically belligerent knock, as she hit two fours and four sixes, scoring 43 of 39 runs. Kyshona played a more composed knock; her 36 coming off 54 balls. West Indies stuttered a little towards the end, losing Knight and Dottin in consecutive overs, but West Indies were able to successfully chase the target.

وقال عبد الجليل في تصريحات عبر برنامج “بوكس تو بوكس”، المُذاع على قناة “etc”: “أتوقع أن يكون نهائي إفريقيا بين الأهلي والوداد المغربي، رغم تعادل الأخير مع صن داونز في المغرب”.

وتابع: “مباراة الوداد وصن داونز ستكون قوية وصعبة على الفريقين، خصوصا أن الفريق الجنوب إفريقي يستقبل أهدافا على أرضه كثيرة”.

وأضاف: “الأهلي لديه عناصر جيدة وهناك بدلاء مميزين، والفريق كان قادرا على تحقيق نتيجة أكبر أمام الترجي في لقاء الذهاب”.

واختتم: “لازال هناك عدم انتظام واضح في المسابقات المصرية، ويجب إيجاد حلول سريعة لتلك الأزمة، ومن الصعب وضع جدول مضغوط للأهلي، وتكرار سيناريو الموسم الماضي عندما فقد الفريق البطولة بسبب الإجهاد والضغط والإصابات التي طاردت الفريق”.

That it came so soon may not have been initially planned but it did wonders for Kleinveldt’s self-esteem. “Adelaide was a big step for him,” Graeme Smith said. “The way he bounced back there after Brisbane was really good, and he took some big wickets.”Kleinveldt did not play in Perth, although he mentioned that being able to experience the WACA pitch was a dream of his. Since returning from Australia, Kleinveldt played a Test in Port Elizabeth, another ground that he was not familiar with. He had only played two first-class matches at St George’s Park before playing the Test. He took four wickets and operated in the shadows of Steyn.Centurion does not have the same reputation as the WACA, but it will give Kleinveldt a chance to test himself in conditions that suit him, and ultimately see if he can “make a big play,” in Kirsten-speak, for the team. Smith believes Kleinveldt is ready to make the step up. “I have seen him develop and show more confidence at training. He looks assured. His performance in Port Elizabeth was solid. He bowled well, created good chances and can swing the ball both ways,” Smith said. “There is always the expectation to turn in a performance that makes you feel [like] you belong and Rory already looks like he does.”Something else that will spur Kleinveldt on is the presence of Kyle Abbott. The Dolphins quick is known for his ability to swing the ball, and earned his place with the Test squad after finishing as the leading wicket-taker in the first-class competition. Abbott will no doubt have to wait his turn but Kleinvedlt will be aware that the only person nipping at his heels is not Ryan McLaren anymore.”Kyle was selected because his domestic form was of a high standard. It was my first time seeing him and he bowled well in the nets,” Smith said. “The hope is that we have players that can keep challenging and create good competition within the national team. You want a strong domestic system so that when someone needs to step up to Test level, they can.”After Abbott there is Chris Morris, the Lions fast bowler who regularly bowls above 140kph, and Andrew Birch, the consistent Warriors seamer. Among those in the queue are Marchant de Lange, who returned from injury recently, and cranked it up to 150kph in a domestic T20 match. Left-arm fast bowlers Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Wayne Parnell are also waiting in the wings. The cupboard, which Allan Donald worried was bare when he took over as bowling coach in July 2011, is clearly full.For Kleinveldt that is a reason to ensure he does something memorable at Centurion. For Smith, it’s a sign that South Africa have the resources to remain the best team around. “I said when we got to No.1 in England that depth is a key factor for us maintaining the ranking. We have already taken steps down that road with Rory playing a few Tests.” Now it will be up to Kleinveldt himself to make sure he continues to remain a part of the unit.

وتابع: “أوسوريو مدرب كبير جدًا، بالتأكيد سينظر للأرقام بعد المباريات، كم لاعب في وسط الملعب مرر كرات خاطئة؟ وكم كرة مؤثرة؟ وكم كرة للأمام؟”.

وأردف: “أتوفيستر عندما كان يدربنا في الزمالك كنا نُهاجم بشكل كبير ونعمل على الكثافة الهجومية، ولكن كان يدخل مرمانا أهدافًا أيضًا، لو أوسوريو يعمل بنفس الطريقة أين فرص الفريق؟ لا توجد فرص كثيرة للزمالك”.

وأكمل: “أنا أعرف أنه يريد أن يفعل أمورًا كثيرة، لكن حالة الفريق الفنية لا تساعدك، وأنت في نهاية موسم، ويوجد بطولة عربية لو لعبت بهذا المنظر وهذا الأسلوب ستكون الأمور صعبة”.

وأتم: “الداخلية كان أفضل، كان يستحق الفوز بهدفين أو ثلاثة، ولكن خبرات لاعبي الزمالك جعلتهم يسجلون هدفًا”.

Mas minha opinião sobre ele vai ser sempre a mesma – disse Cássio, que curiosamente é o melhor goleiro do Corinthians na opinião de Ronaldo.

– É uma marca expressiva que ele tem, o goleiro que mais vestiu a camisa do Corinthians. Minha meta agora é chegar aos 400. Não posso pensar o que vai acontecer em quatro anos. Infelizmente não consegui jogar mais (em 2018) por causa da Seleção, mas isso foi positivo também. Minha meta é chegar aos 400 jogos e ajudar o Corinthians a ganhar títulos. A gente é movido a desafios, tentar quebrar barreiras. Seria muito legal chegar (na marca de Ronaldo), mas é pensar jogo a jogo, minha meta é chegar aos 450 neste ano, e lá no futuro quem sabe alcançar ou até passar essa marca – acrescentou Cássio.

O goleiro está empolgado para 2019. Ele elogiou as contratações nesta janela de transferências e disse que o Corinthians chega forte para a temporada.

– Tivemos um crescimento em contratações, fugiu um pouco ao que vinha, chegaram jogadores campeões, vitoriosos em seus clubes, não desmerecendo, antes vinham mais apostas, hoje é jogador que chega para jogar, vemos no dia a dia, temos muito a crescer, tem qualidade. A gente vem forte, cria expectativa e cobrança maior, mas estamos preparados. Jogador que chegam preparados para ajudar, isso ajuda no entrosamento, em ver jogadores empenhados fazendo o melhor nos treinos. Vamos levar para os jogos as coisas positivas – analisou.

Cássio ainda comentou sobre a situação de Vagner Love, que tenta rescindir seu contrato co mo Besiktas (TUR). O goleiro elogiou o ex-companheiro, que defendeu o Timão em 2015, mas lembrou os atuais centroavantes do elenco.

– É um excelente atacante, foi importante em 2015, mas estamos bem servidos de atacantes. Chegaram o Gustagol, que foi o artilheiro do Brasil no ano passado, e o Boselli, que foi goleador por onde passou. O Love é um cara muito bacana, mas difícil um jogador comentar a situação – esquivou-se Cássio.

وجه إريك تين هاج، المدير الفني لفريق مانشستر يونايتد، رسالة تحذير قوية إلى جارهم مانشستر سيتي، فيما يتعلق بنهائي كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي.

ويستضيف ملعب “ويمبلي” مباراة الفريقين في نهائي كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي، يوم السبت المقبل.

وأنهى مانشستر يونايتد مشواره في الدوري الإنجليزي، اليوم، بالفوز على فولهام بهدفين مقابل هدف.

وقال تين هاج في تصريحات بعد المباراة: “أولًا وقبل كل شيء، أود أن أشكر لاعبينا، أعتقد أنهم لعبوا موسمًا رائعًا، إنهم مدعومون أيضًا من قبل الموظفين، أريد ان أقول شكرًا لهم”.

وأضاف: “ثانيًا أود أن أشكر الجماهير كلها، لقد قاتلنا بقوة خلال الموسم، سواء في الأولد ترافورد أو خارجه، أود أن أشكرهم على ما فعلوه لنا في الموسم، وعلى دعمنا، كان ذلك رائعًا”.

وواصل: “ولكن لا تزال هناك مباراة واحدة، متأكد من أن هؤلاء اللاعبين سيبذلون قصارى جهدهم للفوز على مانشستر سيتي الأسبوع المقبل”.

E aí, pessoal, estão curtindo este início de temporada? Já tivemos emoções nas duas primeiras rodadas. Eu insisto e defendo os Estaduais. Não com a fórmula de hoje, confusa e mirabolante, que afasta cada vez mais os torcedores dos estádios e dão prejuízos aos clubes. Mas quem ganha com isso? Falo sobre o assunto mais abaixo. Quero aqui começar falando das competições em si. O bom delas é a rivalidade, mesmo que os cartolas das federações façam de tudo para “esvaziar” os estádios e “quebrar” os clubes.

Vamos tirar por este fim de semana. Por exemplo: no Rio de Janeiro, Botafogo x Flamengo. Na capital paulista, Santos x São Paulo. E as zoações já começam. Eu vejo pela redação do LANCE! e pelo que acompanho nas redes sociais. Próximo a mim sentam alguns sonhadores. Um já começa a chorar antes do tempo e na hora de tratar as fotos, o outro é pessimistae sempre reclama que vai mal, além das insônias, enquanto o que mora no alto de Santa Teresa, bairro nobre do Rio, já vislumbra o Mundial de Clubes, sem antes mesmo de sentir o cheiro da Copa Libertadores.

No momento em que escrevo a coluna, o amigo e conterrâneo RS10, bate no meu ombro e, se referindo à goleada do Fluminense sobre o Americano, por 4 a 0, vai logo falando:

– Menos de dois títulos esse ano eu não comemoro. Falei para o chefe, o Carioca já é nosso.

Aí eu pergunto: E a Copa Sul-Americana e o Campeonato Brasileiro?

– A Sula já está no papo. O Brasileiro, vamos disparar no segundo turno. Nada de rebaixamento, porque “time grande” não cai – terminou de falar o meu amigo tricolor lá do outro lado da redação, quando o botafoguense do tratamento das fotos citado acima começa a ri e lembra cada ano das Séries B e C que disputou o Tricolor Carioca. Silêncio!

Estão vendo? Sacaram, meus amigos? Por isso que defendo os Estaduais, não o da fórmula mirabolante e confusa, repito. Essa rivalidade sadia e as zoações é que fazem o futebol ter graça. Até mesmo com a final da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, os amigos vascaínos e são-paulinos estavam sofrendo. O “Narrador”, por exemplo, dava chute e soco no ar a cada jogada errada do Vasco e provocava risadas na redação. Aliás, parabéns aos times pela bela final, com o Tricolor paulista conquistando o título nos pênaltis.

Como neste já temos Botafogo x Flamengo, veremos as emoções à flor da pele. No domingo, o San-São para animar ainda mais. Teremos ainda em fevereiro, que já está virando a esquina, Vasco x Fluminense, e Palmeiras x Corinthians. Então, é ou não é de perder o fôlego?

Mas realmente os cartolas fizeram (e continuam fazendo) de tudo para cada vez mais esvaziar os Campeonatos Estaduais. Embora eu defenda, como já está claro, essas competições justamente pelo lado saudosista, como citado pelo amigo Leonardo Pereira na coluna da última quinta-feira, as confusas e mirabolantes tabelas, além das taxas exorbitantes das federações – como lembrado pelo também colunista Felipe David –, deixam cada vez mais os estádios às moscas. Em duas rodadas, só o jogo do Flamengo com o Bangu teve mais de 40 mil pessoas, e isso porque a torcida estava (e ainda está) embalada pelas contratações milionárias.

Quero deixar bem claro que estou me referindo aos Campeonatos Carioca e Paulista. Lamentável o que fazem com os Estaduais. Essa rivalidade – dentro de campo e na arquibancada –, como disse, é sadia. Agora, então, com toda essa tecnologia, internet e redes sociais, aí que é mais engraçado.

Na minha frente, um vascaíno e um botafoguense justamente lembravam esse lado saudosista. Mas não futebolístico e, sim, musical e noveleiro. E, no embalo do “Menino do Rio”, Tom Jobim e Roberto Carlos (lembrando o bloco Exalta Rei), dou o ponto final de hoje juntamente com esses amigos de redação Vinícius Faustini e Leonardo Pereira, quando este último avisa: “Chove muito”. Isso porque já trovoava e chovia há trinta minutos, tanto no Rio quanto em São Paulo. Obrigado, Léo, pela lembrança. E essa chuva de sexta-feira à tarde deve ter sido porque o calor do “Menino do Rio” provoca arrepio.

Semana que vem voltamos para falar dos times que vão se classificar para as finais ou não. Só cuidado com as zebras, porque contratações milionárias (isso é para o Flamengo e o Palmeiras) não são sinônimos de títulos.

James Tomlinson took four quick wickets as Leicestershire were forced to follow-on on day two against Hampshire.Left-arm pace bowler Tomlinson exploited the swinging bowling conditions with great skill as Leicestershire were bowled out for 143 in response to Hampshire’s first innings total of 454 for 7 declared. They will therefore begin day three 311 runs behind their hosts.Leicestershire openers Michael Thornely and Niall O’Brien had to bat out the last two overs of the day without scoring when following on but the damage had already been done. Tomlinson made the ball move both ways to finish with 4 for 23 while another left-armer, Chris Wood took 3 for 30 as Leicestershire collapsed from 31 without loss.Earlier Hampshire had resumed on 286 for 4 and had little difficulty in adding a further 168 in 39 overs for the loss of Sean Ervine, James Vince and Wood. Ervine departed at 308, bowled by Matthew Hoggard, but Vince was in imperious form, reaching his century with his 17th boundary off Shiv Thakor as Hampshire built a formidable total.Vince and newcomer Adam Wheater added 104 for the sixth wicket in 29 overs before Vince lofted debut-making pace bowler Ollie Freckingham into the deep where Thakor held the catch. Vince faced 236 balls for his 148 and struck 21 boundaries, but even then the punishment was not over.Wheater, signed in the close season from Essex, blasted a rapid unbeaten 56 and Wood took advantage of a demoralised attack to make a swift 28 before being bowled by Jigar Naik to prompt the declaration.Thornely and O’Brien gave no hint of the tribulations to come with an opening stand of 31 but when Wood had O’Brien caught at first slip by Ervine, the batting was processional.Tomlinson’s first victim was Thornely, followed in rapid succession by Ned Eckersley and Josh Cobb to make inexperienced Leicestershire 64 for 4, a position from which they never recovered. Only captain Ramnaresh Sarwan hung around long enough to make an impression, hitting five fours in his top score of 25 before he was bowled by Ervine.At 118 for 9 Leicestershire looked doomed but then last pair Hoggard and Alex Wyatt attempted to bring some respectability to the score with an aggressive stand of 25 before Tomlinson returned to claim his fourth wicket when Hoggard drove to third slip.Hampshire fielders surrounded the Leicestershire openers when the follow-on was enforced but they survived to the close.

كشفت تقارير صحفية سعودية النقاب عن نتائج الفحوصات المبدئية للمدافع المصري أحمد حجازي المحترف ضمن صفوف اتحاد جدة.

وكان حجازي قائد الفريق الاتحادي قد تعرض لإصابة في الركبة خلال مباراة فريقه قبل الماضية أمام الفيحاء، تسببت في غيابه عن مواجهة الطائي.
