The Midlands side were very busy during the summer months, as Unai Emery was keen to put together a squad that is able to compete on multiple fronts. But despite the many comings and goings, it seems that the Premier League side are already putting plans in place for January, when the transfer window opens once again.

According to a recent report, Aston Villa are interested in a deal for Alex Baena, who plays for Villareal, a team that Emery used to manage. The 23-year-old broke into the first team during Emery’s reign, and he hasn’t looked back since, impressing a lot this season, so much so that Emery is keen to bring him to England.

As well as looking to sign Baena, Villa are also interested in signing Castello Lukeba from RB Leipzig in 2025. Real Madrid are also keen on signing the defender, but Monchi is positioning Villa ahead of the Spanish giants in a deal that could cost £60 million. And while Villa look at potential deals for first team additions like Baena and Lukeba, they are also keeping an eye on a younger talent, who could be one for years to come.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, relayed by Birmingham World, Aston Villa are among the teams keeping an eye on Kofi Shaw of Bristol Rovers. Shaw, who is only 17, has burst onto the scene for the Gas this season, featuring a handful of times for them in various competitions.

The right winger’s performances have caught the attention of teams from higher up the football pyramid, with Leeds United and Southampton also keen on the player, as well as Villa, who will have an advantage due to NSWE’s previous dealings with his club.

Villa already have a relationship with Rovers, as they sent Lino Sousa to the Memorial Stadium in the summer, and while they may keep their eye on his development, they could also be taking in performances of Shaw in the coming weeks and months. Villa also sent Lamare Bogarde to Rovers to develop and he recently played in the club’s opening Champions League game against Young Boys.

Bristol Rovers boss Matt Taylor spoke last month about Shaw and stated that they are still aware of his age and taking their time with him. Taylor said: “We are still conscious that he is still only 17, so you do have to manage him a little bit, and he’s running as hard as he possibly can. Now we want to keep him in and around the first team.”

Com os cuidados redobrados depois do surto de covid-19, que ocorreu no curso em dezembro, além de Cuca, que está sem clube, Renato Gaúcho, sem clube desde a demissão no Flamengo, também esteve presente. Assim como, Rogério Ceni, técnico do São Paulo, e Lisca, atualmente sem clube. Dos técnicos citados, Lisca é o que está iniciando o curso este ano, os outros iniciaram em 2019.

O curso de Licença PRO é o mais avançado e é o que permite que profissionais brasileiros atuem em equipes fora do país. Em 2019, o Tite, atual técnico da Seleção Brasileira, também tirou sua Licença PRO.

A primeira aula do curso foi com Lucas Oliveira, Analista de Mercado do Palmeiras, e, nesta terça-feira (4), quem comanda as atividades, na Granja, é o técnico Osmar Loss, que esteve com auxiliar do técnico do Internacional, na temporada de 2021.​

Sterling eventually sealed a season-long loan move to Arsenal, but Chilwell failed to find a new home despite links with Premier League rivals Man United. As he candidly explained to the press around that time, Maresca didn’t fancy either player, and he was up front with them about that despite their big-name status.

“I’m not saying Raheem is not a good player but I prefer a different kind of winger,” said Maresca on Chelsea players who are not in his plans, speaking in late August.

Those within the club highly rate the 23-year-old, but his lack of form and opportunities means Chelsea may still choose to secure him a move away in January – potentially on loan to hand him more regular minutes.

The report even hints that Chelsea are optimistic he could challenge for a regular first team place next season, if he impresses on a temporary spell away, so it is clear that Todd Boehly and BlueCo envisage a future for the ex-Shakhtar Donetsk sensation under Maresca.

Signed for an initial £62 million, which could go up to as high as £89 million if add-ons are met, supporters will be praying that Mudryk can rediscover his very best and eventually contribute in this new era for the club.

There are reports that Chelsea could also decide to cut ties with Mudryk completely, so these next few months could be make or break for the forward.

Recently, Postecoglou’s side went on an impressive five-game winning streak in all competitions, with Wales winger Brennan Johnson front and centre of it, as he enjoys quite a purple patch right now.

However, that run unceremoniously ended with a dramatic 3-2 defeat away to Brighton. Spurs were two goals up at half-time, but they ultimately capitulated at the Amex, with Yankuba Minteh, Georginio Rutter and Danny Welbeck cementing their fate.

“You never know if it [the international break] is good or bad. Maybe for the players it was good, but I don’t like sitting on a loss,” said Postecoglou on Tottenham’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton.

Patrick Dorgu could join Tottenham despite new contract

Another rumoured target for Postecoglou’s side is Lecce youngster Patrick Dorgu.

The Dane has been impressing in Serie A, with Dorgu attracting interest from Spurs among other elite Premier League sides. The teenage full-back recently penned a new deal with Lecce, committing his future to the club until 2029 and warding off potential suitors.

However, this apparently may not be the case, as Fiorentina News write that Dorgu is still likely to leave Lecce in 2025, with Spurs at the front of the queue for his services alongside London rivals Chelsea.

The fresh terms will hand Lecce an opportunity to garner more funds from Dorgu’s departure, according to Fiorentina News, which means the north Londoners will have to pay more than his previously reported £25 million fee.

“You can just say that with some players it can go incredibly fast,” said Denmark Under-21s coach Steffen Højer to bold.dk.

“He has already had a lot of playing minutes in Serie A with Lecce, and he has done really, really well. What is special about him is that he is a quiet and calm guy, but things are just incredibly natural for him on a football pitch.

“When he is put on a field, and it doesn’t matter which team, he just fits in, and he just makes incredibly many good choices for such a young player He has clear qualities, and then there is a lot of work that needs to be done in relation to both being part of the U21s, but also eventually making the national team.”
